The best part of the night was that my youngest actually agreed to put on her costume! After weeks of begging and pleading she actually put it on when it counted the most. My guess is that the bribe of going for a walk to collect candy was the real reason she was so willing to put it on and not because Mom wanted her to wear it.

Hitting rewind for a minute on the eve of Halloween I met up with the Richard's family for their fall photoshoot. To put it this way, this is how I was worried the trip was going to end:
But thankfully it didn't because I'm sitting here today able to share with you the experience! My husband recommended I take the Richard's family to Pratt Farm in Middleboro for their shoot. He said it has beautiful grounds and there is a pond you can walk around. I anticipated that it would take us at max an hour to get around the pond and we'd be able to get some great shots out in nature. Our shoot started at 4:00pm and over two hours later after our "quick walk" around the pond we made it out. But there were times we were all pretty freaked out being that it was dark, we were in the woods, we had no idea how far away we were from the car and it was the night before Halloween. Thankfully we knew we weren't lost because we were following trail markers. But note to self, I'm never going back again for a "quick" walk around the pond for a photoshoot.
