Freedom

I don't think any of us will ever forget where we were on September 11th just ten short years ago.  There is so much to be said about the day and how it changed us.  I walked along the beach this morning and reflected on how much has changed in 10 years and how much has remained the same.  And what has remained the same is our freedom as Americans and what an amazing gift that is. 

I was soon joined on the beach by the Mears family and became so enchanted by Abby and her free spirit.  I will soon write a full post from the shoot but this picture represents to me how much is the "same"...our freedom.  Thank you to all  the service men and women that keep us safe in this world and for keeping hope alive for the future generations.
